PROJECT DESCRIPTION
North America’s largest wealth managers tasked our team with creating a new headquarters in 196,000 sf on a total of five floors at One Vanderbilt to accommodate approximately 615 staff of the financial advisory groups in a mix of private offices, benching, and workstations. In addition, designed support and amenity spaces consisting of pantries, collaborative areas, and meeting rooms. Bringing together multiple business lines of top revenue producers was both a design and change management challenge.
The design narrative was built around the idea of a City as a
Canvas. Given the project’s profle as the new headquarters
for the US, as well as its proximity to major landmarks such
as Grand Central Terminal, Bryant Park and the Library, and
Times Square, it was important the design refected the
vibrant ever evolving urban landscape of the City. To
